On 22 January 2021, the University of Naples Federico II and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) will hold online, on the MS Teams platform (due to organisational compliance, we were advised to use the MS Teams instead of Zoom), the Final Conference of the Small Claims Analysis Net (SCAN) project. The results of the SCAN project and the latest developments in the field of online consumer dispute resolution mechanisms will be presented.

This international event aims first of all to present to the public, the results of the research carried out by the SCAN project regarding the implementation of the “European Small Claims Procedure” in the different EU Member States.

This conference will be a place of discussion for international academics, researchers, practitioners and citizens on existing legal remedies aimed at the resolution of small claims involving consumers within the EU and beyond. Therefore, the conference will aim to promote the sharing and discussion of the latest legal developments, new perspectives and experiences on these remedies.

You may join the session by clicking here (The session will be recorded)

You can use a web browser, or alternatively you can download a standalone application (which is recommended for several practical reasons). You can find an MS Teams download option here.
